You live for the Internet or the Internet live for you?

So guys, our next discussion is "which one do you think is the best to describe the relationship between the Internet and you?"

For me, I will say that the Internet life for me. But do you think that it is true? Hee :D honestly, the Internet really affects my life from the first time I knew it up until now. It is like love at the first sight

*i created this picture to illustrate how do i really love IT*

Wow! Yes it is true, moreover now as a student in AIU, I do really need to access every single announcements which are related to my course, campus, hostel and many other things through the Internet. I believe that the purpose of putting all announcements in online and asking student to access it is to improve the knowledge of the student in terms of technology.  So, the question is “Can I live without internet connection for a day, a week, a month or a year?? Uuulala.. This is a simple question that can only be answered by a big “NO”. As I told you before, all the important announcements are online which by meaning I have to use the internet in order to check them and also check my friend’s Facebook page hiiiii :D

One Laptop per Child ?

All I can say is “YOU ARE SO LUCKY CHILD”. Honestly, I do really jealous with all the children if it is going to be true because I just had my first laptop when I was 18 years old. *pity me* -_-
so, what can I say here is that it is oke to give "one laptop per child" if the purpose is to introduce them with the current technology in their early age but REMEMBER parents should give more attention of what are those children doing with that laptop especially when they also have an access to the Internet. I am not saying this because I am jealous with them (yes it is TRUE :( ) but it is because there are many “dirty” websites that can put the children into a “dirty world”. For example, violent-game and porn website are the scariest thing for me and these are accessible by everyone who has laptop and the Internet. These are things that parent should avoid or think carefully before giving the right to the children to own laptop.
Another important thing is we also have to understand that staying in front of laptop for hours per day also not really good for the children. based on an article that i red children can be even more susceptible than adult to developing eye discomfort, fatigue, headaches and blurred vision. Moreover, The rays from the laptop can simply damage the children’s eyes and again parents should really control all these things before it happens.

Well, it is all depends on the purpose behind and depends on how you see this problem for long-term period of time. But for me, I will not wait until my children get those bad influences by the Internet then only I against it.
Because I do believe that prevention is better than cure :)

IT Vs Common Tradition

Helo all, my first week of this second trimester has finished a week ago. Yeaa.. I have to admit that i am a bit late to post my first blog, sorry mam :( but I had a very bad fever during weekend. Hope you understand this.
OK, come back to our main point. Now, let us discuss about the development of Information Technology that has influenced the common traditions of a society. Before that, please take a look to this picture!

Do you agree that now we are living in the technology’s world? For me, the answer is yes. You don’t believe me? Ok, now open your eyes and look around. Are you surrounded by modern gadgets? How about your phone or your laptop
Telling you the truth, those things are we call as the development of technology. Today’s world is all about technology and we do really aware of it. Not just about doing simple things but nowadays as we know that technology also help us in many ways in our society. For example, online shopping, online banking and the most closest one is based on the picture above. Long time ago, people traditionally sending letter to communicate with each other from different places. But now, I (me) as an International student in Malaysia use Skype or yahoo.mail to communicate with my mom in Indonesia. It means this technology is really helpful for us to communicate with other people even around the world to break the long-distance and time barrier that we faced before. So, what I can say that the development of technology has influenced the common society.
It just a matter of how you use the technology in a very positive way so that you can benefit from it as much as possible. take a look at this!
